Alpha Lipoic Acid is a vitamin-like anti-oxidant. It is mainly used in the treatment of diabetes, but can also inhibit damage to mitochondrial DNA. It is a potent scavenger of free radicals. It may increase brain and muscle energy levels and assist muscle recovery after exercise. ALA may help to prevent damage to cell membranes. It has been used for years to provide relief from the pain, burning, tingling, and numbing caused by diabetic neuropathy

Dosage:

Directions for use: Take 1 capsule once or twice daily, with meals or as prescribed by your healthcare provider. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose unless under the supervision of a healthcare practitioner. If you have diabetes consult a relavent healthcare provider prior to use.
